Before you believe what you heard—or repeat it to someone else—have you paused to ask whether you know the full truth?
In today’s Bible study, we’re reading Acts 21:1–25 as Paul continues his journey toward Jerusalem. Although believers warmly welcome him and celebrate everything God has done through his ministry, Paul soon discovers that misleading reports about him have already begun spreading.
And Sis, hearsay still creates confusion today.
Whether it comes through workplace gossip, social media, the news, or conversations among friends, one assumption can quickly become accepted as truth.
That is why we must remain rooted in God’s Word, seek wisdom through prayer, and practice discernment before accepting or repeating what we hear.

That Worry You're Carrying Right Now? God Wants You to Let It Go Sis! | Acts 20:13-38 [S4 E110]

Hey Sis 💛
What is keeping you up at night right now?
Maybe it’s a situation you can’t fix, an outcome you can’t control, or a future you can’t clearly see.
We often hear the phrase, “Give it to God and go to sleep.” But what does that actually look like when the thing you’re carrying is real?
In today’s Bible study, we’re reading Acts 20:13–38 and looking at Paul’s emotional farewell to the Ephesian elders. Paul knew that suffering and imprisonment were waiting for him, yet he refused to become paralyzed by fear.
Instead, he trusted God with what was ahead, remained faithful to his assignment, prepared the leaders around him, and continued moving forward in obedience.
Sis, surrender does not mean abandoning your responsibilities. It means releasing your need to control the outcomes that were never yours to control in the first place.
Give it to God—and then rest, trusting that He is still working, even while you sleep.

Most of the people didn’t even know why they were there.

In a world full of opinions, pressure, loud voices, quick reactions, and constant noise, we need God-given discernment. Before we get swept up in what everyone else is doing, saying, posting, or believing, we can pause, pray, and ask God for wisdom.

When You Didn’t Sign Up For This, But God Still Has a Purpose | Acts 16:16-40 Bible Study [S4 E102]

Have you ever found yourself in a situation you did not sign up for… but somehow knew God was asking you to stay?
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas are beaten, thrown into prison, and placed in chains. But around midnight, instead of giving up, they begin praying and singing hymns to God. Then suddenly, an earthquake shakes the prison, the doors open, and everyone’s chains fall off.
But here’s the part that gets me: Paul and Silas were free to leave… but they stayed.
Because sometimes freedom doesn’t mean leaving. Sometimes freedom means staying surrendered.
In today’s Bible study, we’re talking about what it looks like to praise God in the midnight place, follow the Holy Spirit over good advice, and trust that even the places we didn’t sign up for can still be used for God’s glory.
