Hey Sis 💛
The middle of temptation is not always the best time to decide what you believe.
Today we’re continuing Joseph’s story in Genesis 39:1–18, where we see him prospering in Potiphar’s house, gaining trust, and then facing a temptation that keeps coming back day after day.
But Joseph already knew where he stood.
And when the pressure became too much?
He ran.
Sis, temptation may look different for each of us, but preparation matters.
Prayer.God’s Word.Boundaries.Accountability.And sometimes knowing when it’s simply time to get out of there.
So instead of only asking, “What tempts me?” maybe there’s another question we need to answer:
What’s my evacuation plan when it does?

The evidence in front of you can look final and still not tell the whole story.
Today we’re continuing Joseph’s story in Genesis 37:18–36, and things take a turn Joseph probably never could have imagined.
He followed his father’s instructions. He went where he was sent. And somehow, that obedience led him straight into a pit and eventually toward Egypt.
Sis, sometimes we can be moving exactly where we’re supposed to go and still find ourselves asking:
God, how did I end up here?
But things aren’t always as they seem.
What feels like a setback may be part of the very road God is using to move the story forward.
And as long as you’re breathing, Sis, your story isn’t finished yet.

The families in the Bible were a whole lot messier than we sometimes remember.
And yet, somehow, God continued working His redemption story through ordinary people, complicated families, questionable decisions, long waiting seasons, and promises that sometimes seemed impossible.
Today we’re stepping into Genesis and setting the stage for our new study through the life of Joseph.
Before we get to Joseph himself, we’re tracing the generations that came before him and looking at something that shows up again and again:
God’s timing doesn’t always look like ours, but His promises remain true.

You don’t have to prove yourself when Christ has already made you new.
Today we’re closing out our journey through Galatians with Galatians 6:11–18, where Paul brings everything back to what truly matters:
The new creation.
Not appearances.Not impressing people.Not proving how spiritual we are.
Jesus.
And after everything we’ve studied about freedom, grace, the flesh, and walking by the Spirit, there’s one more question worth carrying with us:
What are people experiencing when you walk into the room?
Sis, you don’t have to be the loudest person there to change the atmosphere. The grace of Jesus can show through the way you love, respond, encourage, and simply live.

Sometimes the hardest part of doing good is continuing when you can’t see what it’s producing yet.
Today we’re studying Galatians 6:1–10, where Paul talks about restoration, carrying one another’s burdens, staying humble, and continuing to sow toward the Spirit.
And then he gives us this reminder:
“Let us not become weary in doing good.”
Sis, waiting can make you tired.
Praying can make you tired.
Showing up again and again without seeing the harvest yet can make you wonder whether any of it is even working.
But just because you can’t see what God is producing doesn’t mean nothing is growing.
Don’t give up before the harvest.

The fruit of the Spirit is more than a list to memorize. It’s evidence of who is leading.
Today we’re studying Galatians 5:22–26, where Paul shows us what it can look like when we truly allow the Holy Spirit to lead our everyday lives.
Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control.
But Sis, Paul doesn’t stop there.
Because even as we begin seeing growth in our lives, there are still things like pride, comparison, jealousy, and the need to prove ourselves that can quietly creep in.
So maybe the question isn’t simply, “Do I know the fruit of the Spirit?”
Maybe it’s:
Is what I’m about to say, do, or prove actually producing fruit?

Not every feeling, urge, or reaction deserves the final say.
Today we’re studying Galatians 5:16–21, where Paul gets very practical about what it looks like to live by the Spirit instead of simply following whatever our flesh wants in the moment.
And Sis, this one may step on a few toes.
Because sometimes the question isn’t whether we know what’s right.
Sometimes we know exactly what’s right and still feel pulled in the opposite direction.
But Galatians reminds us that the struggle itself doesn’t mean God is finished with us.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s repentance, surrender, and learning to follow the Holy Spirit one decision at a time.
So before you respond, react, or make that next move, maybe there’s one question worth asking:
Is this my flesh speaking, or is the Holy Spirit leading me?

It only takes one small lie to make us question a whole lot of truth.
Today we’re studying Galatians 5:1–15, where Paul gives the Galatians a strong reminder:
Christ has set you free—so stay free.
They had been running their race well, but other voices had started creating confusion about what they needed to do in order to be right with God.
And Sis, with so many voices competing for our attention today, that reminder matters for us too.
Not every teaching, opinion, piece of advice, or thought deserves permission to shape what we believe.
So when life gets loud and something starts pulling you away from what you know to be true, where do you return?
Back to God’s Word.
