Circle Time for The Soul for Christian Women | Bible Study, Daily Devotional, Faith Community, Morning Prayer, Trusting God
Are you struggling to hear from God? Do you want to spend time in His Word every day but your faith ends up on the back burner? Do you wish you were a part of a community of faith-filled women growing in their relationship with Jesus? If so, you’re in the right place! 💕 Hey ya’ll! I’m Diana Marie, a teacher, and woman of God. I have been on a faith journey for nearly 30 years, and have often struggled with consistency in the Word, wondering if I’m praying ”right”, and wondering if I’m hearing from God or if it’s just my own thoughts. It wasn’t until I faced a couple valleys of my own that I was able to realize that in order to develop the spiritual disciplines and habits that kept me on the path to seeking God - and hearing from Him - it would require seeking Him on a daily basis so I can continue to grow in my relationship with Him. In this podcast, you will boost your faith with weekly memory verses, feel refreshed by daily devotionals, and start your day with prayer so you can feel comfortable in your faith journey. I’ve learned that to grow in faith, you need a few key ingredients: regular time in God’s Word, a community of fellow believers who’ve been around the block, and the knowledge that you’re right where you’re supposed to be. So, if you’re ready to: ✨ Finally find some friends who’ve got your back on your journey with God ✨ Connect with a community of believers who’ve been down this road before, and ✨ Gain some rock-solid confidence in the amazing plan that God’s got for your life, Guess what? This podcast is for your friend. 🫂 Now, no need to dress up – grab your coffee, tea, or whatever you fancy ☕️ , get comfy, and let’s kick off our shoes for a bit of soul-nourishing conversation. Ephesians 3:20-21 ”Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!” You Are So Loved, Diana Marie — YOUR NEXT STEPS! — *Accept Jesus Into Your Heart* — https://lp.billygraham.org/find-peace-with-god/ Visit Our Website: https://circletimeforthesoul.com/ Join The Private Facebook Group! — www.facebook.com/groups/circletimeforthesoul “Daily Devotional Discussions Christian Women” My Favorite Prayer Journal — https://dailykairos.com/diana-cummings (Affiliate Link) Email — CircleTimeforTheSoul@gmail.com

Hey Sis! Happy Thursday 🫶
Whether today is filled with joy or feels heavy, this episode is for you. Let’s take a moment to shift our hearts toward gratitude and reflect on God’s goodness, even in seasons of waiting.
📖 Scripture Focus: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
Today, we dive deeper into spiritual warfare and how our thoughts can either align with God’s truth or create barriers to faith. God’s Word is our weapon to destroy strongholds and live victoriously!
📜 Devotional: Waiting on God – Day 4
The Idols That Impede Your FaithDr. Charles Stanley reminds us that seasons of waiting can reveal idols in our lives—things we rely on more than God. Some of these might surprise you:
Our Own Understanding: Overanalyzing instead of trusting God. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
A Sense of Security: Placing our trust in stability instead of God’s provision.
Goals and Dreams: Letting personal ambitions overshadow God’s plans.
Relationships: Allowing others to take priority over our relationship with God.
The Past: Holding onto old hurts or patterns that hinder faith.
Hobbies and Distractions: When entertainment becomes more important than time with God.
What idols might God be gently asking you to release today?
✨ Praise Break: Psalm 100
“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.”Take a moment today, even if it’s just 30 seconds, to praise God for who He is. Gratitude shifts our perspective and brings joy to our hearts.
💡 Reflection Question
What is an idol that might be holding you back from fully trusting God?
🛠️ Practical Encouragement
Start a Thanksgiving Gratitude Circle at your gathering today. Invite each person to share one thing they’re thankful for this year.
Meditate on Psalm 100 or Romans 8:28 to keep your heart centered on God’s promises.

Episode 410:
🎙️ Welcome back, Sis, to Circle Time for the Soul! In today’s episode, we’re diving into the promises of God and what it means to wait on Him even when life feels uncertain. If you’ve ever faced a season of waiting and felt like hope was slipping away, this conversation is for you.
We’ll explore:
A touching story of God’s goodness and mercy, inspired by Psalm 23:6.
Weekly scripture meditation from 2 Corinthians 2:4-5 and its powerful call to take every thought captive.
Insights from Dr. Charles Stanley’s devotional, Waiting on God, and how to combat the lies of the "nevers" in our lives.
Encouragement for trusting God’s timeline and His perfect plans for your life.
This week’s biblical affirmation is:I wake up with purpose, direction, and meaning every day of my life.
📖 Scripture Focus
2 Corinthians 2:4-5:"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
Use this scripture to guide your week. Write it down, meditate on it, and let it fill your heart with God’s truth.
For more context, check out this Bible Project video on 2 Corinthians included in the show notes!
💡Devotional Reflection: Day 1 – The “Nevers” of Life
We begin our journey with Dr. Charles Stanley’s devotional Waiting on God.
Key Takeaways:
The "nevers" of life—like never getting that job, healing, or answer—are rooted in lies that seek to crush your hope.
God calls us to stand against these lies with His truth, relying on Him as our ultimate strength.
Trusting God during seasons of waiting builds deeper faith, even when timelines don’t align with your expectations.
As Dr. Stanley reminds us:"God acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him" (Isaiah 64:4).
Let this truth encourage you as you trust God to work for your good (Romans 8:28).
📌 Today’s Question for Reflection
What is something you’re waiting on that you are deciding today to hand over to God?

If God has placed a call on your life, how do you respond? What does obedience, consistency, and trials look like in the journey of following Him? Join me as we reflect on lessons learned from this Spirit-led adventure.
📖 Today’s Scripture: Mark 2:4-5, 10-12
“Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven.’”
💡 Key Takeaways from the Week's Scripture Study:
The people you surround yourself with influence your healing journey. Do your friends point you back to Christ?
God’s timing transcends ours. His forgiveness and grace have eternal power.
Your testimony isn’t just for you; it can bring others to faith in Jesus. Share your story, Sis!
🎉 Devotional Reflection: What I’ve Learned From 100K Downloads
After nearly 19 months of podcasting, God has taught me some powerful lessons about faith and obedience:
Your Yes Matters: Just like Abraham and Moses, your willingness to say “yes” to God’s call is the first step toward His blessings.
Obedience Matters: Staying on the path, even when it’s unclear, allows God to work all things for good.
Consistency Is Key: God’s direction for daily episodes taught me discipline and trust in His provision.
Trials Shape Us: Challenges are part of the process, building the character needed for the Kingdom work ahead.
📌 Question of the Week:What’s one thing God has worked through your obedience to His call in 2024?
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for Your guidance and love. Thank You for every sister listening today. We surrender to Your plans and ask for clarity and strength to walk in obedience to Your call. Amen.
💌 Final Encouragement:Sisters, thank you for being a part of this journey! Your support and faithfulness inspire me every day.
If you’ve been blessed by this episode, please leave a written review to help other women of God find this space.
May the rest of your day be the best of your day!

Take a moment right now to thank the Lord for one thing He’s done in your life this week. No matter where you are, there’s always a reason to give thanks!
📖 Scripture Focus:Mark 2:4-5 & 10-12
Jesus shows us that healing isn’t just physical—it’s spiritual and eternal.
When we hear God speak, faith calls us to act, just as the paralyzed man did.
Your healing journey is also a testimony for others, pointing them to the Healer.

Welcome back, Circle Time Sisters! 🎙️
Happy Tuesday! In today’s episode, Diana dives into the beauty of patience, the company we keep, and how God equips us to fulfill His calling. Using insights from Mark 2 and day 7 of Joyce Meyer’s Where Is God in My Mess? devotional, Diana shares how faith and perseverance can transform our waiting seasons into powerful moments of growth.
In this episode, we’ll cover:
✨ Called and Equipped by God:
Diana reflects on how God equips us for every mission He calls us to, inspired by Tara Leigh-Cobble’s quote:"What God initiates, He will sustain and fulfill."Through the story of the paralyzed man in Mark 2, we’re reminded of the importance of surrounding ourselves with faith-filled friends who lead us back to Jesus in times of need. Who you keep in your life can deeply impact your spiritual journey and healing.
✨ Biblical Affirmation:
This week’s affirmation from Ephesians 3:12 is:"My confidence is in Christ—and Christ alone. Because His Spirit lives within me, I can do everything He calls me to do."Hold onto this truth as a reminder that your strength comes from the One who equips you.
✨ Scripture Study from Mark 2:
We dive into Mark 2:4-5 and 10-12, exploring how faith can break barriers. Diana challenges us to think about our own “faith crew” and the intentional steps we take toward healing, even when obstacles arise. Are you surrounding yourself with people who carry you back to Jesus?
✨ Day 7 of Our Devotional:
In Where Is God in My Mess? Joyce Meyer redefines patience, emphasizing that it’s more than waiting—it’s about maintaining a Christ-centered attitude while we wait. Diana encourages us to see patience as a fruit of the Spirit that grows under trials and trust God’s timing in every circumstance.

Sermon Reflections:Diana shares a message from Dr. Charles Stanley’s sermon, A Passing Opportunity. Through the story of Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46-52, we’re reminded of the importance of recognizing and acting on the opportunities God places before us. Just as Jesus stopped to meet the need of a blind beggar, He’s ready to meet you wherever you are today.
Biblical Affirmation:Ephesians 3:12 encourages us:"In Him and through faith in Him, we may approach God with freedom and confidence."
Declare this truth over your life: “My confidence is in Christ alone. Because His Spirit lives in me, I can do everything He calls me to do.”
Devotional Focus – Where is God in My Mess? by Joyce Meyer:Today’s reading, The Double Blessing, explores how God can bring beauty from our pain. Using Isaiah 61:7, Joyce shares how God transforms our trials into testimonies, offering us a double portion of blessing for the troubles we endure. Diana reflects on her personal journey and emphasizes the importance of hope, forgiveness, and trusting God’s faithfulness through life’s messes.
A Call to Community:Facing challenges alone is tough, Sis! Surround yourself with godly encouragement by joining our free Facebook group, Devotional Discussions for Christian Women. It’s a space to connect, share, and grow in faith together.
✨ Thought of the Day:“What is something you need to work on most in the middle of a moment or season of trouble?”
🙏 Prayer:"Dear Lord, help me to forgive those who have wronged me and to trust that even in my darkest days, You are right there with me. Let me have faith that You have a plan for my life and will bless me in ways I cannot imagine. I choose to believe that something good is going to happen to me today and every day! In Jesus’ name, amen."
