Hey ya’ll! I’m Diana Marie, a teacher, and woman of God. I have been on a faith journey for nearly 30 years, and have often struggled with consistency in the Word, wondering if I’m praying ”right”, and wondering if I’m hearing from God or if it’s just my own thoughts.
It wasn’t until I faced a couple valleys of my own that I was able to realize that in order to develop the spiritual disciplines and habits that kept me on the path to seeking God - and hearing from Him - it would require seeking Him on a daily basis so I can continue to grow in my relationship with Him.
In this podcast, you will boost your faith with weekly memory verses, feel refreshed by daily devotionals, and start your day with prayer so you can feel comfortable in your faith journey. I’ve learned that to grow in faith, you need a few key ingredients: regular time in God’s Word, a community of fellow believers who’ve been around the block, and the knowledge that you’re right where you’re supposed to be.

Together we’ll talk about the reality that people will disappoint us, but God never will—and how shifting our expectations back to Him allows us to see our friendships with new eyes. You’ll hear personal stories about the different roles friends play in our lives, the freedom that comes when we release unhealthy expectations, and the courage it takes to step into fellowship again after hurt.

Hey Sis! 🎙️
Today’s episode is a reminder that while God calls us into love, community, and encouragement, we cannot forget that we are also in the middle of a very real spiritual battle. We open with a reflection on Hebrews 10:23–25, where we are challenged to hold fast to our hope, to intentionally consider how we can spur one another on toward love and good works, and to remain faithful in community as we wait for Christ’s return. It’s a call to action—not just to believe, but to live out our faith in tangible ways that impact others.
From there, we step into Day 3 of Jennie Allen’s devotional Find Your People with the theme “We Are at War.” If God’s desire is for us to walk in deep, loving, intimate connection, then of course the enemy will try to divide us, isolate us, and keep us distracted from the real battle. Today we’ll uncover the truth of the enemy’s schemes, the necessity of spiritual armor, and the power of rallying together in prayer and community.

Today’s, we begin our study in Hebrews 10:23–25, where we’re called to hold unswervingly to hope, trust in God’s faithfulness, and stay rooted in community as we encourage one another toward love and good works.
Just as the early believers were urged not to turn back when faith felt costly, we’re reminded that our Savior’s promises are sure and His sacrifice is complete.
From there, we continue into Day 2 of Jennie Allen’s Find Your People devotional, reflecting on our deep longing for relationships and how it stems from being made in the image of a relational God. When we try to fill that yearning with people or things, we come up empty—but when our affection is centered on God, His love overflows into our families, friendships, and communities.

Today’s episode is a call to carry the light of Christ into every space we step into, no matter the circumstances around us. We’re closing our study of Psalm 37:5–9 with a reminder that when we commit everything to the Lord, trust Him fully, and wait patiently for His timing, He is faithful to help us. From David’s wisdom we’ve seen the danger of anger, the futility of fretting over evil, and the beauty of surrendering judgment to God. The promise remains: those who trust in the Lord will inherit His blessings.
We’re also wrapping up our devotional “Waiting on God” by Dr. Tony Evans with a powerful reflection on what it means to cling to God’s presence in the midst of loss, hardship, and waiting. Even when the rescue doesn’t come in the way we expect, He promises to be with us and give us new strength to keep walking forward. Hey Sis! 🎙️
Today’s episode is a reminder that even in the mystery of God’s ways, His “no’s” and His “not yets” are just as much His provision as His yes. We begin in Proverbs 25:2, where we’re reminded that it is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and we reflect on how His redirection and closed doors often protect us from what we cannot yet see. From there, we continue our study in Psalm 37:5–9, where David urges us to turn away from anger and trust God’s timing rather than taking judgment into our own hands.
We also move into Day 2 of Waiting on God by Dr. Tony Evans, unpacking Isaiah 40:31 and Psalm 25:5. Hey Sis! 🎙️

Hey Sis! 🎙️
Today’s episode is a call to commit everything—your plans, your desires, your family, your future—into the hands of the Lord, trusting that He will help you. We’re beginning our study in Psalm 37:5–9, a wisdom psalm written later in David’s life, reminding us that God’s Word can be trusted. As David testifies, when we delight in the Lord, He not only shapes the desires of our heart but also helps us live in the security of His guidance. If you’ve ever wondered what it truly means for God to give you the desires of your heart, this passage will help clarify that it’s not about wish-fulfillment, but about transformation—God placing His desires within us as we delight in Him.
We’re also wrapping up Day 7 of Free of Me: Why Life Is Better When It’s Not All About You by Sharon Hodde Miller, with a powerful reflection from Philippians 2. This final devotional reminds us of the unexpected joy that comes through dying to self. Our insecurities and failures point us to the truth that we were never meant to carry the weight of the world—only God can do that. In surrender, humility, and “smallness,” we discover the true freedom that Christ offers.
