Hey ya’ll! I’m Diana Marie, a teacher, and woman of God. I have been on a faith journey for nearly 30 years, and have often struggled with consistency in the Word, wondering if I’m praying ”right”, and wondering if I’m hearing from God or if it’s just my own thoughts.
It wasn’t until I faced a couple valleys of my own that I was able to realize that in order to develop the spiritual disciplines and habits that kept me on the path to seeking God - and hearing from Him - it would require seeking Him on a daily basis so I can continue to grow in my relationship with Him.
In this podcast, you will boost your faith with weekly memory verses, feel refreshed by daily devotionals, and start your day with prayer so you can feel comfortable in your faith journey. I’ve learned that to grow in faith, you need a few key ingredients: regular time in God’s Word, a community of fellow believers who’ve been around the block, and the knowledge that you’re right where you’re supposed to be.

Hey Sis! 🎙️
Today’s episode is a reminder that God’s promises have never failed—and they never will. We continue our Christmas scripture study in Luke 1:26–38, tracing how the birth of Jesus fulfills hundreds of years of Old Testament prophecy. From Isaiah to Micah, from God’s covenant with David to Mary’s humble obedience, we see a faithful God who keeps His word, even when the waiting is long and the process doesn’t make sense. This passage invites us to trust God’s timing, bring our honest questions to Him like Mary did, and resist believing the labels or limitations others place on us.
We then reflect on Day 6 of Christmas in a Season of Struggle by Rick Warren, focusing on how Christmas reveals God’s extravagant, poured-out love. Through Psalm 42:8 and Matthew 5:45, we’re reminded that God is not stingy with His love—He showers it freely, paying attention to every detail of our lives. God sees every tear, knows every step you take, and proved His love through action by sending Jesus to carry what we could not. If you’ve felt forgotten, alone, or like God’s love has been delayed, this episode gently brings that truth back to the front of your mind: you are seen, fully known, and deeply loved.

Today’s episode is a gentle reminder that when pain sets in, the lie that you are alone often follows—but God’s Word tells a very different story.
We begin with introducing our Christmas scripture study in Luke 1:26–38, encouraging listeners to begin with their own study as we begin (along with the link from Bible Project of an overview from the Book of Luke).
From there, we have our devotional discussion in Day 4 of Christmas in a Season of Struggle by Pastor Rick Warren, asking the honest question so many of us face: Where is God when you’re in pain? Through Psalm 34:18, Hebrews 4:15, and Romans 8:26, we’re reminded that God is not distant or detached—He is near to the brokenhearted, empathetic in our suffering, and compassionate enough to meet us right where we are.
This episode speaks directly to those moments when you don’t even know what to pray, offering hope in the promise that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with wordless groans and that Jesus fully understands our pain because He has walked it Himself. Today’s episode brings us to the close of our Matthew 18 study, where Jesus’ parable of the unforgiving servant reminds us just how deeply we’ve been forgiven — and how that forgiveness is meant to transform the way we release others. As we revisit the flow of the chapter, from questions about greatness to wandering sheep to conflict among believers, we’re invited to see the heart behind Jesus’ teaching: forgiveness is not a suggestion but a reflection of the grace we ourselves depend on. Whether you’re wrestling with old wounds, navigating complicated relationships, or simply needing a reminder that God sees your heart, this passage gently calls us back to humility, mercy, and the freedom found in forgiving from the heart.
We also wrap up Day 5 of our Christmas devotional God With Us and reflect on Jesus as our Prince of Peace — the One who calms anxious thoughts, settles weary hearts, and offers a rest this world can’t imitate. Isaiah foretold Him, the Gospels reveal Him, and we still experience Him today: steady, present, and endlessly loving. If you’ve been carrying weight He never asked you to carry, this episode is an invitation to let the Father meet you with peace that surpasses understanding. Hey Sis! 🎙️
Today’s episode is a reminder that even when life feels overwhelming, God is gently forming perseverance within us. Through Matthew 18, we continue Jesus’ powerful teaching on forgiveness — not as a burden, but as freedom. We reflect on the parable of the unforgiving servant and the sobering truth that forgiven people are called to extend forgiveness. With Jeremiah 17:10 as our anchor, we explore how God examines the heart, shapes us through challenge, and meets us with mercy every time we turn back to Him.
We also move into Day 4 of God With Us, focusing on Jesus as our Everlasting Father — the One who never changes, never abandons, and never stops giving good gifts to His children. Through Isaiah 9, Matthew 7, James 1, and the parable of the Lost Son, we’re reminded that God’s fatherly love is steady, protective, and deeply personal. If forgiveness feels hard or if your earthly experiences with “father” make intimacy with God challenging, this episode gently guides you back to the truth: in Him, you have hope, healing, and a Father who calls you His own.
